- What you give us: name, Instagram handle, email, country and city, bike and year, your story, the photographer's name, your photos (which may show you or other people) and the boxes you tick.
- Automatically: the date and time of your submission, your browser type and a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, used for security and as proof of what you accepted.
This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Fonts are served from our own server.

What becomes public
If we publish your ride, your name or handle, city, country, bike, story and photos become public on our social media (operated by Meta and others, under their own privacy policies) and, if selected, in printed books. Your email and IP information are never published.
Who else handles the data
We use Cloudflare, Inc. to host this site and store the photos, and Notion Labs, Inc. to organise submissions. Both act on our behalf under data processing agreements. They may process data in the United States; both are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection (Art. 45 GDPR). Printers or publishers of our books only receive the photos, story and credit details needed to produce them. We don't sell your data.
How long we keep it
- Your submission and photos: while the Wheel Magazine archive and book project are active, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Proof of the licence (version, date, email and hashed IP): for as long as we use Your Content and up to 5 years afterwards, to handle possible claims.
- Photos uploaded to a form that was never sent: deleted automatically within 48 hours.
- Book updates: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw any consent at any time, without affecting what was done before. Email magazinewheel@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or the authority in your country.
